Emerald lights waving like curtains in the wind. Hints of bright pink and violet pop through.  Eyes wide open, staring up into the sky at the stars witnessing and electrical phenomenon. With every breath I take I can see white air float above my eyes.  -20 degrees. The camera is set up, I run inside, the warm air from inside feels so wonderful. bust into my daughters room, I whisper in her ear, “the lights are out.” Eyes open wide, scrambles out of bed, gets dressed and heads to the door. My daughter’s tiny feet pacing back and forth, she says “Take a picture, Mommy, take a picture”. My fingers are frozen but we take a ton of pictures. The ground and pine trees are covered with bright white snow that has a hint of green reflecting on them. And that is how I found myself. Under the flowing whispering lights. There has been laughter, tears, falling to my knees, and cheering.

I have witnessed how big and magical and powerful this world is.
